Easterling Chieftain: Mordor used other people and races in his armies as well as his terrible orcs and goblins. Some races were from the East, controlled by Sauron and his Ringwraiths. These people worked and fought to support Mordor. But that does not mean that they were evil men, just different and probably tricked and enslaved into serving the One Enemy with promises of more land and wealth. They were fierce fighters and even when Sauron was destroyed they continued to struggle against Gondor for many years.
This miniature was designed by Chris Tubb, an internationally famous Miniature designer for over 20 years, most well know for his Lord of the Rings miniatures created for Mithril Miniatures.
Each figure is carefully researched to be faithful to J.R.R. Tolkien's original vision and painted by our experienced Irish artists here in Cork, Ireland to reflect that vision.
The miniatures are made of pewter and this figures height is 58mm from base to the top of it's head. Average range scale is 54mm.
Antique Finish means that the figure is polished first then undercoated in a black paint and that is skillfully rubbed off the highlights and left in the creases and depths so the miniature is brought into strong contrast. This is an excellant alternative to fully painted versions of the miniature.
