This figure shows Elrond after his famous council (The Council of Elrond). He is considering the last two people he will send on the quest as part of the fellowship of the ring.
Elrond was the father of Arwen and a powerful elven Lord, ruler of Rivendell. His healing skills helped save Frodo's life after the injury with the ringwraith's blade on Weathertop.
This miniature was designed by Chris Tubb, an internationally famous Miniature designer for over 20 years, most well know for his Lord of the Rings miniatures created for Mithril Miniatures.
Each figure is carefully researched to be faithful to J.R.R. Tolkien's original vision and painted by our experienced Irish artists here in Cork, Ireland to reflect that vision.
The miniatures are made of pewter and this figures height is 57mm from base to the top of it's head. Average range scale is 54mm.
Antique Finish means that the figure is polished first then undercoated in a black paint and that is skillfully rubbed off the highlights and left in the creases and depths so the miniature is brought into strong contrast. This is an excellant alternative to fully painted versions of the miniature.
