Strider, chief of the Northern Rangers, the Dunedain, was later revealed as Aragorn, son of Arathorn, heir to the thrones of Gondor and Arnor. He met the Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry) in the Prancing Pony Inn in the Village of Bree and lead them to Rivendell, the home of Elrond, an elf. He was also a member of the Fellowship and one of the most important characters in the Lord of the Rings. He loved Elrond's daughter, Arwen and would only be allowed to marry her if he became King of the two human nations.
This miniature was designed by Chris Tubb, an internationally famous Miniature designer for over 20 years, most well know for his Lord of the Rings miniatures created for Mithril Miniatures.
Each figure is carefully researched to be faithful to J.R.R. Tolkien's original vision and painted by our experienced Irish artists here in Cork, Ireland to reflect that vision.
The miniatures are made of pewter and this figures height is 57mm from base to the top of it's head. Average range scale is 54mm.
Antique Finish means that the figure is polished first then undercoated in a black paint and that is skillfully rubbed off the highlights and left in the creases and depths so the miniature is brought into strong contrast. This is an excellant alternative to fully painted versions of the miniature.
